Suites Aldama

This place is hard to find - there is no sign outside! It's the door to the right of the restaurant. The room was comfortable, and they let us park our motorcycles in their small secure lot. Outside of our room window was the vent fan for the restaurant downstairs. The fan needs a new bearing, meaning it made a horrible racket as long as it was operating. The TV is hung from the ceiling right over the couch, and not directly viewable from either bed or the couch. There was a small fridge, which was super awesome. 819 pesos for 2 people and 2 double beds.

Abraham and his brother were extremely gracious and took the time to detail all the hot spots in and around Toluca. The hotel was extremely clean and in a great location. It also had hot water on demand, a beautiful terrace, fast wifi, and free Netflix. Overall great stay, would definitely recommend.

For budget accommodations, you'll be hard pressed to find better options in the city. The room was simple but clean. There is plenty of hot water, and although the rooms aren't heated, the beds have plenty of blankets to keep you warm. Remember that this isn't a high-end hotel, so walls are a little thin and the place is a bit hard to spot from the street. Nevertheless, the service is always polite and helpful, and if you want more solitude, one of their suites will probably still cost less than a night in the Holiday Inn or Fiesta.

Staff was extremely helpful and kind. They helped me up with my luggage several times and were there to answer any questions about the city. Nice, clean atmosphere, would recommend.

We thought that this place was great. Secure and safe. Nice rooms. Wifi speed test is over 100 mB per second. We had a big king size bed and it was really comfortable. This was on the second floor. Beautiful view of the 15223 foot mountain Pico de Águila from our door. North of here the town center is awesome with lots to see. South of here there is less to see. It is apparently quite a dangerous town so we stayed indoors after dark. We did walk both ways to the bus station though. The hotel was a great safe place to stay though.

Affordable, clean, spacious room. Safe parking for your vehicle is provided. Free WiFi too, works great. The hotel is small. Would recommend reservations. We did not have any and got in (weekday). We stayed on the second floor (Roble). Mini kitchen, dinner table etc. Beds were comfortable and plenty of bedding if you like to bundle up.

Great boutique like hotel. Hotel is very clean, near many amenities like restaurants and stores. Staff is very kind and attentive. Our room had a king bed, small fridge and a nice balcony with a view of the city. I strongly recommend and will stay again when back in town.
